| Obverse description | Confronted busts of Caracalla and Geta facing one another across the field: at left, the laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, seen from the front; at right, the bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta facing left, seen from the front. The paired dynastic portrait composition is characteristic of provincial bronze coinage issued under Septimius Severus. The obverse legend names both co-heirs and is divided on either side of the busts. |
