| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, a characteristic provincial portrait convention of the Severan period. The imperial effigy displays carefully articulated paludamentum folds at the shoulder and segmented cuirass detail at the truncation. A beaded border frames the design, with the Greek imperial titulature legend disposed around the periphery of the field. |
