| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Septimius Severus facing right, with short beard and draped paludamentum visible at the truncation. The radiate crown with pronounced spikes frames the emperor's portrait in the characteristic provincial style of Bithynian civic coinage. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and shows casting fissures consistent with provincial bronze production of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Frontal view of a tetrastyle or octastyle temple set upon a stepped podium (stylobate), rendered in schematic perspective with eight columns visible between antae; the triangular pediment is ornamented with a pellet at its center, and the entablature is decorated with a dotted border representing the frieze. The architectural type likely references the civic temple of Hadrian at Bithynium-Claudiopolis. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is divided and placed to the left and right of the temple facade, with ΑΔΡΙΑΝΩΝ inscribed in the lower exergual field. |
