Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, portrayed in the typical Severan court style with an elaborate diadem and richly draped garments. The effigy occupies the central field, with the encircling Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The coin shows heavy patination and surface wear consistent with prolonged circulation, and the flan exhibits an irregular crack across the upper portion. The portrait retains sufficient relief to confirm the identity of the empress through comparison with the obverse legend.
