Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of the emperor Nero facing left, with characteristic youthful portraiture typical of his early-to-mid reign, rendered in the Greek provincial style. The effigy displays a draped shoulder and the facial features consistent with Neronian portraiture of the period 54–68 AD. A Greek legend encircles the field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
