Obverse description Laureate, lightly bearded bust of Commodus (attributed with some uncertainty), draped in cuirass and paludamentum, facing right and viewed from behind, giving a three-quarter rear perspective characteristic of certain Phrygian provincial issues. The obverse legend is partially obscured or illegible, a feature occasionally encountered on worn or off-center specimens of this provincial series.
