| Reverse description | Tyche of Pergamum standing facing, head turned to left, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical basket crown) on her head. She holds a ship's rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, emblems of prosperity and divine guidance over the city's fortune. The reverse legend, disposed around the field in Greek, identifies the issuing magistrate and the city's neokorate status. The composition is typical of civic bronze coinage from the conventus of Pergamum during the Antonine period. |
