Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed in the fashionable style of the Antonine period, rendered in the provincial Greek tradition. The effigy occupies the central field with the encircling Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait displays the characteristic treatment of late Antonine provincial coinage from Phrygia, with drapery folds visible at the shoulder.
