| Reverse description | Standing figure of Amazon Magnesia, the eponymous heroine of the city, depicted facing left in the field's centre, holding a patera in her extended right hand, a pelta (Amazon shield) in her left hand, and a chlamys draped over her arm. Nike approaches from the right, bearing a palm branch and reaching forward to crown Magnesia with a wreath, symbolising civic honour. The reverse legend in Greek encircles the scene within a beaded border, naming the presiding strategos and the issuing community. |
