The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Viminacium mint, with fine radial lines delineating the laurel wreath. To her left stands a bull facing right, symbol of one of the legions garrisoned at Viminacium, and to her right a lion stands facing left, representing the second legion. The colonial legend P M S COL VIM appears around the field, with the regnal year AN II recorded in the lower portion of the reverse, denoting the second year of the Viminacium colonial era. |
