Beschrijving voorzijde	Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, viewed from behind, rendered in typical provincial workshop style. The radiate crown is visible atop the imperial effigy, and the paludamentum is fastened at the shoulder. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust within the field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The goddess Demeter depicted standing in full figure facing left, rendered in a stiff provincial style characteristic of Carian civic bronzes. In her right hand she holds ears of grain, and in her left she carries a long torch extending to the ground. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is inscribed around the reverse field, identifying the coin as a civic issue of Harpasa.
