Reverse description Artemis, the huntress goddess, stands in full figure facing left in the centre of the field, clad in short chiton, holding a bow in her extended hand with a quiver visible at her shoulder. A stag stands at her feet to the left, serving as her divine attribute. The surrounding Greek civic legend, distributed around the periphery of the coin, records the issuing city and the name of the local magistrate responsible for the emission.
