Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, with youthful features and characteristic curled hair, rendered in typical provincial workshop style. The portrait is set within a circular field with the imperial titulature legend distributed around the periphery. The die engraving, though somewhat worn, conveys the standard iconographic formula for Elagabalus as adopted on Mysian civic bronzes of this period.
