| Reverse description | Zeus standing to the left in full figure, his right arm extended and holding a patera in offering, while his left hand rests upon a tall sceptre. The deity is rendered in the conventional civic Zeus type widespread in Asia Minor provincial coinage. The Greek legend is distributed around the field, naming the local magistrate responsible for the issue. The style and iconography are consistent with bronze civic issues of Temnus under the Flavian dynasty. |
