The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Aeolian civic coinage, with drapery visible at the truncation. The encircling Greek legend reads ΚΡΙϹΠΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤ, identifying the empress with her imperial title Augusta. |
