Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, with paludamentum visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Lydian conventus, with bold, slightly stylized facial features. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan, beginning at the upper right and continuing around. The flan shows characteristic irregularity and surface patination consistent with a provincially struck bronze issue.
