The effigy is rendered in the typical military portrait style of the Severan period, with bold, three-quarter rear perspective. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥ(Τ) Κ Μ ΑΥ(Ρ) ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his official titles and name. The field exhibits the characteristic rough surfaces of a provincial bronze issue, with a beaded border framing the design. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Homonoia type depicting two civic Tychai in a bilateral confrontation: the Tyche of Laodicea stands at right, holding a small cult statue of Zeus Laodiceus and a transversal sceptre, while the Tyche of Ephesus stands at left, holding a small cult statue of Artemis Ephesia. The composition symbolises the concordia (Homonoia) alliance between the two cities. The reverse legend ΛΑΟΔΙΚΕΩΝ ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ names the two cities, with ΟΜΟΝΟΙΑ denoting their alliance and ΤΟ ΠΗ indicating the civic era date. A beaded border encircles the design. |
