Reverse description Athena, helmeted and draped, standing facing left in a composed, classical pose at the centre of the field. The goddess rests her right hand upon a large grounded shield to her left side and holds an upright spear in her left hand, the shaft extending nearly the full height of the die. The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic civic tradition common to Lydian provincial bronzes of the period. A multi-word Greek legend naming the local magistrate and the issuing city encircles the type, and a countermark or test cut is visible to the right of the standing figure.
