| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter view seen from the rear, displaying the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder and the overlapping scales of the cuirass in typical provincial style. The emperor's effigy is boldly struck in high relief against a plain field, with the encircling Greek legend distributed around the periphery. The flan is irregularly shaped, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. |

| Reverse description | Zeus enthroned to the left, seated upon a high-backed throne, holding a small figure of Nike in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left hand, in the canonical Pheidian tradition commonly reproduced on provincial civic coinage of Asia Minor. The deity is rendered in flowing robes with feet resting upon a footstool, the composition filling the central field. The encircling Greek legend names the local magistrate and the civic community, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
