Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla facing right, her elaborately coiffed hair arranged in waves and set with a diadem, a crescent visible at the shoulders. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Ephesian mint, with the drapery falling in diagonal folds across the truncation. The surrounding Greek legend names the empress as Augusta. The flan is irregular, as is typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period.
