Obverse description Draped bust of Herennia Etruscilla, Augusta and consort of Trajan Decius, facing right and set upon a crescent, her hair arranged in a characteristic stephane-style diadem with multiple parallel ridges swept back from the face. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Samian mint, with the legend disposed in the surrounding field. A dotted border frames the design.
