Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, seen from the rear, rendered in the provincial style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the cuirass, with musculature indicated on the shoulder. A beaded border encircles the design, and the Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan.
