| Beschrijving keerzijde | A tetrastyle temple depicted in frontal perspective, with four columns supporting a pediment rendered with a triangular raking cornice and crossed roof beams visible above. Within the intercolumniation stands a cult statue of Kore (Persephone), the goddess closely associated with the sanctuary at Sardis and venerated throughout Lydia, shown in frontal stance. The reverse legend, distributed around the temple design, records the name of the local magistrate Helenos Apollonides and the ethnic of the Silandeans. Steps are visible at the base of the temple structure, consistent with numismatic depictions of sacred architecture in the Conventus of Sardis. |
