Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta facing left, seen from the rear, depicted in military attire with a spear projecting forward over the right shoulder and a round shield adorned with a gorgoneion device at the left arm. The legend encircles the bust in Greek characters. The overall rendering is characteristic of provincial bronze coinage from Phrygia under the Severan dynasty.
