Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Pupienus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view common to provincial coinage of the period. The imperial effigy is rendered with visible paludamentum folds over the cuirass, conveying both military and civic authority. The encircling Greek legend runs around the obverse field identifying the emperor by his full titulature.

Reverse description Apollo Didymeus standing facing at center, holding a stag in one hand and a bow in the other, referencing the famous cult statue of the Didymaion sanctuary near Miletus. To his side stands Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted with his characteristic serpent-entwined staff (caduceus). The composition reflects Miletus's pride in its association with the great oracular sanctuary at Didyma, and the multi-figure arrangement is typical of the civic iconography of Ionian provincial bronzes. The encircling legend names the city, its neocorate status, and the presiding archiprytanis.
