Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Otacilia Severa, wife of Philip I, facing right, with hair elaborately dressed and secured by a stephane. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Ionian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. A Greek legend encircles the bust, identifying the empress by her full imperial title.
