| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Nero facing right, depicted with characteristic youthful features and draped shoulders. The legend surrounds the effigy in Greek characters, reading the emperor's full titulature abbreviated across the field. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style, with a somewhat bulkier physiognomy than metropolitan Roman issues. The laurel wreath is clearly delineated around the head, consistent with imperial iconography of the Neronian period. |

The regnal year date L ΙΔ (year 14) appears in the left field, identifying this issue to the fourteenth year of Nero's reign. The composition follows the standard typology for Alexandrian civic bronzes of this period, with Tyche rendered in a flowing garment. |
