Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, standing and driving a biga (two-horse chariot) at full gallop to the right, leaning forward dynamically as she holds the reins in both hands. The two horses are depicted in energetic motion with raised forelegs. The Greek civic legend ΑΜΑϹΤΡΙΑΝΩΝ arcs across the upper field, while the numeral Η (8), denoting the eighth year of the local civic era or an agonistic denomination, appears in the lower field or exergue. A ground line separates the main design from the lower legend. The composition is executed in a lively provincial style typical of Pontic civic bronzes of the Severan period.
