正面描述	Youthful bare-headed bust of Commodus, as Caesar, draped in paludamentum, facing right and seen from behind, with the garment fastening visible at the shoulder. The portrait reflects the early, unbearded effigy characteristic of Commodus's representation as Caesar under Marcus Aurelius during the mid-170s AD. The obverse legend is disposed around the bust in Greek characters, naming the subject in his Caesarean titulature. The die work displays the provincial idiom typical of the Ephesian mint, with strong relief on the portrait.
