Nike, positioned to the right, crowns the Tyche figure, while the goddess rests her foot upon a swimming river-god below. Two small figures stand atop columns flanking the central group, their arms extended outward in a gesture of acclamation or supplication. The composition reflects the elaborate civic iconography characteristic of Decapolis and Coele-Syrian provincial bronzes of the Antonine period. |
