Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, with a branch or wreath visible behind the head, rendered in moderately high relief in the provincial Greek tradition. A quiver or arrow appears to the left of the bust in the field, and a long staff or sceptre is visible to the right. The circular legend ΟΛΒΙΟΠΟΛЄΙΤЄѠΝ is distributed around the periphery, with the ethnic denomination letter Θ placed in the lower field. The overall style reflects the local Olbian civic coinage of the Roman imperial period, with the emperor's portrait adapted from official Roman prototypes.
