| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The empress is depicted with her hair elaborately dressed, as was customary in imperial portraiture of the mid-2nd century AD. The surface is heavily worn and encrusted, obscuring finer details of drapery and any surrounding legend. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Turreted and draped bust of the Nymph Nicaea, eponymous deity and patron of the city, facing right and wearing an ivy wreath atop her turreted crown, with a quiver visible at her shoulder — attributes befitting a huntress-nymph in the Hellenistic tradition. A partially preserved inscription appears to the right of the bust. The die work is consistent with civic bronze coinage of Nicaea under Marcus Aurelius, though the flan is irregular and the strike uneven, leaving much of the design indistinct. |
