| Obverse description | Youthful laureate head of the Demos of Aezanis facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic civic portrait tradition. The legend ΔΗΜΟϹ ΑΙΖΑΝΕΙΤΩΝ is disposed around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular, and the surface shows heavy encrustation consistent with prolonged burial, though the general profile of the effigy remains discernible. |
