| Descripción del anverso | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, portrayed three-quarter view from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the typical provincial portraiture style of the early third century AD. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, running along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular in shape and bears a suspension hole pierced through the upper field, indicating secondary use as a pendant. The ethnic legend ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ appears in the field or along the periphery, identifying the issuing city of Nicaea. The reverse field shows significant wear, with the relief of the figure substantially smoothed.
