| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, depicted three-quarter from the rear, rendering the paludamentum and cuirass in fine detail. The imperial effigy displays a bearded portrait consistent with Macrinus's known iconography. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular, as is typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period. |
