In her extended right hand she holds a statuette of Ares, the god of war, while her left arm cradles a large cornucopia symbolising abundance. At her feet, a small lighted altar is depicted, adding a sacrificial and religious dimension to the civic iconography. The reverse legend, disposed around the field, identifies the issuing community. |
