| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Empress Tranquillina facing right, wearing a diadem, rendered in the provincial style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The effigy is set within a circular field with the imperial titulature legend surrounding the portrait. The drapery is indicated across the shoulder, and the diadem is clearly visible at the crown of the head. |
