| Beschrijving keerzijde | Hygieia, goddess of health, stands facing right, clad in a long chiton and himation, extending a patera in her right hand from which a large serpent coils upward to feed. The figure is rendered in the classical provincial Greek style with drapery falling in naturalistic folds. A multi-line Greek legend, naming the presiding strategos and identifying Pergamum as a triple neocorate city, fills the field and encircles the type within a beaded border. |
