| Beschrijving keerzijde | A tall, stepped agonistic altar occupies the central field, its body decorated with a festive garland draped across the front and sides; atop the altar rests a prize crown (agonistic crown) containing two upright palm branches, symbols of victory in the sacred games. The altar is rendered with careful architectural detail, including a pronounced cornice and stepped base. The surrounding Greek legend, divided between the exergue and the periphery, proclaims Neocaesarea's status as a metropolis and provides the regnal year according to the Pontic era.
