Obverse description Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped and cuirassed, with an aegis visible at the shoulder. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic Roman imperial style of the Flavian period. The Greek legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan. The overall style reflects the provincial civic coinage tradition of the Ionian conventus.
