The inscription ΚοΜοΔΕΙΑ appears in two lines within the body of the table, referencing the sacred games instituted in honour of Commodus. The entire composition is framed by a laurel wreath border, and the ethnic legend of the Nicaeans runs around the periphery of the field. |
