Reverse description Apollo standing left, depicted nude with legs crossed in a relaxed contrapposto pose, his weight resting on a tall pillar at his right side. The god holds a bow in his extended hand, while to the left a tree is shown entwined by the serpent Python, with an arrow lodged in its head, alluding to the Apolline myth of slaying the Python at Delphi. The ethnic legend of the issuing city runs around the periphery within a beaded border.
