Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with bold, slightly coarse relief characteristic of Thracian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy displays the characteristic heavy laurel wreath and drapery over the left shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the field, partially visible despite the coin's worn surfaces.
