Reverse description Apollo-Tyrimnaios, the local dynastic deity of the Lydian region, depicted on horseback advancing to the right. The rider holds a patera in one hand and carries a double-headed axe (labrys) over his shoulder, attributes combining priestly and martial symbolism. The horse is shown in a vigorous gait, with the figure rendered in the angular, somewhat schematic style characteristic of Lydian provincial bronzes. A Greek legend in the field and around the periphery records the dedicatory and priestly titles associated with the issue.
