Reverse description Apollo Klarios seated left upon an omphalos or throne, his body rendered in three-quarter view with drapery falling over his lower limbs. In his extended right hand he holds a laurel branch, and in his left a kithara (lyre), attributes closely associated with the Clarian sanctuary near Colophon. The figure occupies nearly the full field, with the Greek magistrate legend disposed around the periphery in a circular arrangement.
