The architectural rendering includes a pediment above the columns, consistent with the local coinage tradition of Hypaepa honouring its patron deity. The Greek magistrate legend is distributed across the field and exergue, identifying the issuing strategos. The overall composition reflects the standard provincial temple-type reverse widespread in Lydian civic coinage of the Severan and later periods. |
