Reverse description Tyche standing facing with head turned to the left, wearing a kalathos (modius) upon her head, her figure draped in a long chiton and himation. In her right hand she holds a rudder, symbolising the fortune and guidance of the city, while her left hand bears a cornucopia overflowing with fruit and grain, emblematic of abundance. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, names the issuing civic authority and the eponymous strategos responsible for the coinage. The type is a standard civic reverse for Thyatira under the Severan dynasty.
