| 正面铭文 | Α Κ Μ ΑΥΡ ϹΕ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟϹ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Severus Alexander) |
| 背面描述 | Standing figure of an Amazon facing left, her right foot placed upon the prow of a ship, holding a long sceptre in one hand and a patera in the other. The composition alludes to the maritime tradition and mythological heritage of Phocaea, a city celebrated for its seafaring history. The encircling legend names the local magistrate responsible for the coin's issue and identifies the civic authority of the Phocaeans. |

Phocaea's civic bronze issues under Severus Alexander are among the more sparsely documented provincial series from the Smyrna conventus, and the magistrate name preserved here — Aurelius Theodosianus — appears on only a handful of recorded specimens. The "ΤΟ Β" notation indicates a second term in office, a detail that occasionally helps sequence otherwise undatable issues within a reign but rarely survives this legibly on bronze of this module.
