Reverse description Nude Apollo standing right with legs crossed in a relaxed contrapposto pose, raising his right hand to rest upon the top of his head, while his left arm leans upon an ornately decorated pillar surmounted by a lyre. To the left, a tree is entwined by a serpent, referencing the Pythian myth and identifying the deity in his role as slayer of the Python. The composition reflects standard Hellenistic iconographic conventions prevalent in the coinage of the Mysian city of Germe. The Greek magistrate legend is distributed in the field.
