Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic Severan three-quarter back view. The emperor's laurel wreath, military cuirass, and draped paludamentum are rendered with typical provincial workshop craftsmanship. The obverse legend, disposed in a circular arrangement around the bust, identifies the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The field is plain, and the coin is bordered by a beaded or dotted circle serving as an outer frame.
Schrift voorzijde Greek

Beschrijving keerzijde Zeus stands in a frontal or three-quarter pose, his weight shifted slightly, holding a long sceptre in his left hand and a thunderbolt in his outstretched right hand. The deity is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with a naturalistic, slightly draped figure typical of Bithynian provincial coinage. The reverse legend ΠΡΟΥϹΑΕΩΝ encircles the divine figure, identifying the issuing city of Prusa ad Olympum. The image visible in this side of the coin confirms the standing figure flanked by the Greek ethnic inscription. The overall style reflects the local die-cutting traditions of the Bithynian region under the Severan dynasty.
